The DEDI will be in attendance at the Higher Ground International’s 15th Anniversary Gala on Friday, September 22 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick. The gala will celebrate those who have been a critical part of restoring dignity, empowering lives, and promoting peace for Liberian and West African immigrants and refugees. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the organization, with funds raised at the Gala going toward Higher Ground's Building a Lasting Legacy Capital Campaign, which will be used to construct and rehabilitate Higher Ground's new building, located in the West End of Providence.
