Get certified as a Minority Business Enterprise! DEDI is hosting a free workshop on Wednesday, April 12 from 6-7 p.m. at the South Providence Library in Providence for minority business owners interested in being certified as Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The workshop, which will be hosted by Elvys Ruiz, Chief Program Development at DEDI, is aimed at assisting minority business owners with the application process and becoming certified with the State of Rhode Island as MBEs, WBEs, and DBEs. State certification makes minority businesses eligible to work on state funded projects.
