Originally from Alaska and now a proud Rhode Island resident for over a decade, I am a Johnson & Wales University alumna with a passion for building inclusive, community-driven culinary spaces. Through my business, Sarcastic Sweets, my goal is to offer the kind of warm, welcoming service I grew up with—whether we’re serving you from our food truck or handing you a cup of coffee at the bakery.

With over 20 years in the industry, I’ve owned and operated two food trucks and two brick-and-mortar bakeries. My focus is on creating allergy-conscious desserts that bring people together. From dairy-free to nut-free, our goal is to make sure everyone can enjoy something sweet without worry, even those customers who desire gluten-free and vegan options, we cater to them too!

My culinary style is influenced by my travels across the U.S. and abroad, and I strongly believe that a great dessert has the power to connect people from all walks of life. I’m committed to mentoring the next generation of chefs, and proudly staff interns from JWU, and local culinary programs, as well as individuals with special abilities.

Sarcastic Sweets now calls 560 Mineral Spring Ave, Suite 2117 in Pawtucket, RI, her new home. We offer full-service bakery catering, food truck events, in-store classes, vending rentals, and local delivery across New England.
