Rhode to Equity

Through the RHODE TO EQUITY initiative, DEDI and EOO focus on strengthening partnerships and fostering equity within state agencies.

As part of DEDI EOO’s RHODE TO EQUITY initiative, EOO is meeting individually with all RI state agencies with the following goals in mind:

  • Engagement with DEDI’s Associate Director and EOO Administrator;
  • Diversity Liaison program;
  • Review of Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) status and reports;
  • Engaged processing of AAP;
  • DEDI’s Cultural Competency Training and
  • General communication and suggestions on how the engagement between DEDI and RI state agencies can be strengthened.
