WBE profile: Charise Wilson, Workforce Ready Solutions, LLC Charise Wilson, Workforce Ready Solutions, LLC Charise Wilson said that being certified by the RI Division of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion as a Women Business Enterprise gave her both a personal and business confidence boost. Wilson, the managing director and founder of her Lincoln-based Workforce Ready Solutions, LLC, launched her business in 2019 and hasn’t looked back due to the help of DEDI’s MBE program. Wilson’s business evolved from her more than 20 years spent helping businesses with workforce development. Workforce Ready Solutions offers career coaching, interactive seminars, and employment guidance for individuals and businesses. “Right after I certified my business, I landed my first employment opportunity landing a three-year contract with a client,” said Wilson. “It’s funny because at first, I was intimidated by the process of certifying, but once I learned more about it, I just went for it. I would encourage other women business owners to do the same and go for it – reach out to DEDI about its program.” Find more information about DEDI, including how to get certified as an WBE, visit dedi.ri.gov at https://bit.ly/3YvOazP.
